Description

Indenture being a feoffment by Thomas Gygges of Brunham Hovere to John Gygges his son and Alice John's wife and the heirs and assigns of John of the reversion of his manor in Brunham St. Clement, called 'Vewtrys,' with land etc. in Brunham St. Clement, Brunham Thorp, Brunham Sutton, Brunham Ulp, Brunham St. Edmund, Brunham Westgate, Brunham Norton, Brunham Debdale, Holkham, Wyghton and Warham, formerly Simon le Veutre's, with mills etc., turbaries, rushbeds (arundinet') etc, view of frank pledge etc, liberty of bull and boar etc.; with remainder, in default of their issue, to his own right heirs. Witnesses: William Calthorp and Thomas Gurney, esquires, and others (named). Norfolk. Monday, the eve of The Apostles Peter and Paul, 29 Henry VI.
