Chirograph, indented, being the memorandum of an agreement between the prior and convent of Lewes and John, earl of Warrenn, reciting that the former had claimed a pond and the site and suit of a mill in Mechinges and Pidingho as given to them in free alms by the earl's ancestors; release of all their right therein to the said earl in consideration of 8s. rent-charge out of his manor of Mechinges.
