Description

Feoffment by John Bernard the elder of Little Messenden son and heir of Walter Bernard to John Trenge of Trynge, 'maltman,' William Attedene of Ever, 'bocher,' John Carter of Agmondesham, 'wheler,' and Thomas Bovyndon of Penne, 'tailour,' of all those lands etc. in Messenden and Agmondesham, which he had by the gift and feoffment of Alice his mother in her widowhood to him and the heirs of his body, to hold to the said John and the others during his life. Witnesses:—Edmund Nedam and others (named). Buckinghamshire. Messenden, the last day but one of October, 34 Henry VI.
