Description

Feoffment by Alice late the wife of Walter Bernard of Little Messenden, widow, to John Bernard the elder of the same her son, of all those lands etc. in Messenden and Agmondesham which formerly belonged to John atte Nore and Isabel his wife her parents deceased, and which the said Isabella in her pure widowhood warranted and released to the said Walter and herself; to hold to the said John Bernard in tail, with remainder in default to right heirs, as in a charter thereof made by Lawrence Litilpage. Witnesses:—Edmund Brudenell of Sherdlowes, John Bernard the younger, her son and others (named). Buckinghamshire. Messenden, 24 October, 34 Henry VI.
