Description

Indenture of demise by William de La Haye, knight, to John de Eye and Margaret his wife, for the term of their lives, of a messuage in the town of Foxton between John Reyner's and Richard Dikeman's, one head abutting on 'le Brok' and the other on the highway, and all the land which formerly was John Fraunceys' which Osbert Godlok held of him, the said William, for life in the town and fields of Foxton, with meadows etc. and other its appurtenances, an acre of land excepted which Richard Dikeman had in exchange for the said messuage and except the messuage which Geoffrey Smith (faber) held of him for life; rent, during his life time, one mark, and after his decease 1d. to his heirs and assigns, yearly. Cambridgeshire. Foxton, Sunday before the Purification, 5 Edward II.
