Indenture of demise by John Malorre of Weleton, to Gilbert son of Ralph le Noreis, of the same, and Alice his wife, and John and William, their children, for their lives, of all his portion of a messuage there, late Richard de Duston's, also of 10 acres land and meadow land which John le Haiward used to hold of him, and, in augmentation thereof, of 1½ acre 1 rood land, with a portion of herbage, with their headlands in the fields of the said town, viz. 1 rood on Thurnhul, 1 rood at Litlewelle, extending to Brochfurlong, 1 rood extending 'in to' Heyestret, ½ acre 'in to' Bonaswelle, ½ acre at Schellen, and one piece of herbage by Litlewellesiche; with the reversion of a house and curtilage in the said messuage expectant on the decease of Juliana and Agnes daughters of Richard de Duston; rendering therefore yearly 12s. suit of court and heriots; and they shall furnish one man or woman to reap for six days in the autumn on his land, with food for three days at their and for three days at his expense. Northamptonshire. Sunday after St Matthias, 11 Edward II.
