Release by Thomas son of Gervase of Wauton, to Sir John de Lodbrok, knight, of his right in the lands, etc. which belonged to Master Simon de Wauton in Alkerynton and Balskote; for this Sir John gave him 40s. beforehand. Witnesses:—Thomas de Arden, John son of Wy, Hugh de Braunteston and Robert Wandard, knights and others (named). Dated at Warwick, in the eyre of Sirs John de Vallibus, William de Saham, and their fellows, justices of the king. Oxfordshire. Tuesday after St Scolastica, 13 Edward I.
