Description

Grant by Geoffrey of Norwich (de Noruico), parson of the church of St Lawrence of Cove, to the said church, in pure and perpetual alms, of all the land, with a messuage of his buying in Cove, lying between the said church and the marsh and adjoining the road to the marsh; provided however that Martin de Mautiedenia, chaplain, shall have the said land for his life, rendering 1d. on St Lawrence's day to the parson of the said church for all service, and if the said Martin erect any buildings in the said messuage, let him do with them as he will. Witnesses:—Sir Robert de Colevill and others (named). Endorsed:—Carta iija de Cove. Suffolk.
