Letters patent by Robert de Somery to Sir Hugh le Despenser, lord of Lougtheburgh, reciting that the said Sir Hugh had been enfeoffed by Malcolm Musard of certain lands and tenements in Doughton, Tettebury, Cherleton, and Upton, which he the said Robert had heretofore claimed as his right, and that he had released his right therein to Sir Hugh for 20 marks, paid him at Sir Hugh's hostel at Lambhethe on the undermentioned date; bond for the repayment of the said sum, at the quinzaine of St Hilary next, should the said Malcolm succeed in establishing his title to the said tenements, and that he was competent to make an estate of inheritance thereof to the said Sir Hugh. Gloucestershire. 25 November, 7 Edward II.
