Description

Defeasance of grant, viz. that if the said Margery acquit the said William against the King and the lord of Derset Magna during the next ten years of the proportion of rent incumbent on the lands and tenements which he had acquired of her in Derset, the grant to be void. Underwritten: Memorandum that neither the said Margery nor her heirs, etc. have paid anything to the lord of Derset, or to the King, or to the sheriff, etc. of the services and payments incumbent on the land of 'le Hurnelonde,' for William le Clerk of Geydon, during the said ten years, so that the above grant stands. Warwickshire. Sunday after St Martin, 21 Edward III.
