Description

Release by Alice late the wife of Roger Hillari of Edelmeton, in her free widowhood, to E. the prior and canons of Holy Trinity, London, of her right in 4 acres land, between land late Hugh Peverel's and the land of William le Fox which they have of the gift of John son of John her brother, and whereof she impleaded Thomas de Arcubus, the tenant, before master Roger de Seyton and others, justices in eyre at Stone Cross (apud crucem lapideam) in the octave of St. Martin 2 Edward [I]; to hold to the said prior and canons as the charter witnesses which they have of her said brother who enfeoffed them thereof. Witnesses:- Lawrence Duket, William de Berneford, Richard de Anesti, Geoffrey the cook, William Spirk, William le Frere, Robert Gizors, William Yvon (?), John Blund (blundo), Richard the cook. Endorsed:-'Edelmetone.' Middlesex.
