Description

Chirograph, not indented, being a grant by Stephen the prior, and the convent, of Christ Church, London, to Hugh de Polestede, of the land by the Thames which William the priest (presbyter) held from them, the said William having sold the fee, to him, with their consent. Witnesses:- Roger de Ginges, Philip de Wid'vill, and others (named). Endorsed: 'Modo Adam de Rokesle' [-] 'Sancti Dunstani.' London.
