Description

Release by Joan late the wife of Nicholas de Wermundisworthe, widow, to Sir Roger de Draycote, clerk, William de le Feild, his nephew, and William Pouger of Wulistorp, of all her right of dower, which she had claimed against them, in all the lands and tenements which they ever held in the towns of Breyd' and Wulistorp of the grant of the said Nicholas and Roger; in return for which they have given her 20 marks in support of her plea in the king's court against certain other of her adversaries. Witnesses:- Sir Philip de Pauntun, knight, the releasor's brother, Martin de Wermundesworthe, her son, and others (named). Lincolnshire.
