Defeasance of a bond by John the abbot, and the convent, of Stanlegh, to Richard de Penbrugge, for 1000 marks; witnessing that if the said abbot and convent shall perform all the covenants comprised in certain indentures between the said parties, or if the said Richard do not, on his part, perform all the said covenants, within the time limited, then the said bond shall be void.
