Release by John Rufford, gentleman, cousin and one of the heirs of John Walshe, late of Chesthunt, esquire, viz. son of Elizabeth his sister, to Sir Henry Stafford, earl of Wilts, and to Luke Longlond, gentleman, of all his right in the manor of Andrewys, and in a messuage, land, and a moiety of the manor of 'la Moteland' alias 'la Mote,' in Chesthunt. Endorsed: Memorandum of enrolment on the dorse of the Close Roll in the month and year within written. Hertfordshire. 28 November, 11 Henry VIII.
