Release by William Chesyll, gentleman, to Henry Stafford, earl of Wilts, and Luke Longland, gentleman, of all his right in the manor of Andrewys, and in a messuage, land, and a moiety of the manor of 'la Moteland' alias 'la Mote,' in Chesthunt, whereof the said earl and Luke had been enfeoffed by John More, knight, one of the justices of the Common Pleas, and by John Josselyn and Thomas Knyghton, gentlemen, in accordance with the judgment delivered by Thomas, Cardinal archbishop of York, etc. the chancellor, and the court of Chancery; and whereof the said John More, John Josselyn, Thomas Knyghton, and others, now deceased, had been enfeoffed, by John Walshe of Chesthunt aforesaid esquire, 26 Oct., 16 Henry VII., to the use of last will. Endorsed: Memorandum of enrolment on the dorse of the Close Roll in December of the year within written. Hertfordshire. 28 November, 11 Henry VIII.
