Description

Award by William de Courteney, William Kyngeston, and Richard Graynfild, knights, arbitrators in a dispute between the right honourable Arthur Plantagenet, knight, viscount Lisle, and Dame Onore his wife, of the one part, and John Cobley and Roger Gyfford, esquires, of the other part, relative to the turning of part of the course of the water of Tawe near the weir of Womberlegh, to the alleged injury of the said Lord Lisle and his wife, etc. Addressed: 'To the honorable and my sing'ler goode lady my lady Vicountes Lissle in Cales be thus delyvered.' Devon. 20 February, 22 Henry VIII.
