Certificate by Thomas, marquis of Dorset, justice in eyre of the king's forests etc on this side Trent, to the warden of Rokyngham forest, informing him that he has given licence to Richard Verney, esquire, and Elizabeth his wife, to cut down and sell certain underwood on their land in the said forest, in a coppice (copio) called 'Leykyshowke' in 'le Baylywyke' of Gretton, abutting on Corbi Rydyng, Thakholme grene, Long Ryding and Carnel Copie: N'hamp. 12 July, 21 Henry VIII.
