Description

Bond by Thomas Joce of the parish of Merden, labourer, and Richard a Borow of the same, tanner, to Peter Shakyrlye, esquire, Laurence Holland, gentleman, and George Congherst, gentleman, for 20l. Endorsed: Condition of above bond, witnessing that if the said Thomas shall abide by an arbitration between him and the said Peter, as to the possession of the premises described in E 40/5531, then the above bond shall be void. Underwritten: 'xo die Febr[uarii] anno ixo. John Culpeper, gentleman, hath declared and said that the within named Rychard Barowe ys the same person which is bonde with the same'. 9 May, 7 Henry VIII.
