Bond by Peter Shakerlye in the county of Lancashire, esquire, Laurence Holland of London, gentleman, and George Congherst, in the county of Kent, gentleman, to Thomas Joce and Richard a Borow of Merden, for 20l. Endorsed: Condition of above bond, witnessing that if the said Peter shall abide by an arbitration between him and the said Thomas, as to the possession of a messuage and garden in the parish of Merden, on the 'denne' (dennam) of Engherst, and of a yearly rent of 3s. 4d. and two hens from the said premises etc [then the said bond shall be void]: [Kent.]. 9 May, 7 Henry VIII.
