Description

Confirmation by John the prior, and the convent of the apostles Peter and Paul, Bath, to Thomas More, Thomas Overay and Thomas Wander, clerks, John Sterre the elder, Thomas Webbe the elder, and John Houchyn, of their grant to them of a yearly rent from their lands and tenements in Yevelton, Chelwurth by Pensford, Lemansfield, Aysshewyke, and Ilwyke, with clause for the payment by the prior and convent, to any one of the grantees coming to Bath to receive the said rent, of any expenses incurred through the delay of the grantors to pay the same, with bond by the grantors for 1,000 marks: Somers. 14 August, 21 Edward IV.
