Description

Agreement between Sir W., abbot of Ramsey, and Adam son of John the knight, deceased, of Brauncestre; witnessing that the said abbot is to pay to Adam a specified quantity of corn and barley yearly, during the life of Agnes Aungre, relict of Herbert son of Richard de Brauncestre, the said Adam being bound to the said Agnes in a similar quantity of grain, for her dower land, which Adam bought of Ralph son of Herbert, and gave to the said abbot in frank almoin. Witnesses:- Sirs John de Ingolthorp, Roger de Todtis, WIlliam Rustein, and Roger de Sancto Martino, knights, and others (named): [Norf.]. 9 Edward I.
