Description

Demise by the lady Alyna la Despensere, countess of Norfolk, to Robert son of John de Otteleye, for 10 marks a year to be paid in her manor of Wykes, of the wardship of lands and tenements in Bernigeham (Barningham) lately belonging to John de Stagno and Lucy his wife, which are in the said countess's hands as guardian of Isabella and Katherine, daughters and heiresses of the said John and Lucy, the grantor reserving all [lands] in Ighinton and elsewhere in the county of Hertford etc with further grant of the countess's share of all grain sown in the said lands: [Norf.]. Fastern, Trinity Sunday, 8 Edward [I].
