Description

Bond by John Pakyngton, late of Steple, gentleman, to Thomas Stokys, for 8l. Endorsed: Condition of above bond, witnessing that whereas the said John paid 8l. into the king's receipt, in Hilary last, in part payment of the king's aid in the county named, in discharge of which he received a bill signed by the said Thomas for obtaining a tally, but having lost the said bill and Thomas having agreed to give John another bill for the said sum, if John shall take no advantage in case the first bill is found, then the above bond shall be void: Salop. 6 May, 15 Henry VII.
