Description

Grant by John de Burgh, to Philip Basset, of the advowson of the church of Bestune with the manor of Beston, which Philip has of the gift of Hubert de Burhg, the grantor's father. Witnesses:- Sir William de Eboroco, provost of Beverley, the king's justiciar, and others (named). (Norf ?). Feast of St. Katherine, A. D. 1243
