Notification by Robert, bishop of London, to the dean and chapter of St. Paul's and the archdeacons etc that he has confirmed to the nuns of St. Mary's, Wikes, the grant of the island of Sirichesheie and the demesne tithes of Alexander de Waham in Purle, and all the possessions of the church, as confirmed to them by Henry (I), and by tedbald, archbishop of Canterbury, primate of all Britain (tocius Britannie). Witnesses:- Richard, the bishop's chaplain, Hugh de Marenni, Master Albric, William de Wokendone, and Salomon de Stebeheie. Essex. (A. D. 1141-1151)
