Acknowledgement by Richard the prior, and the canons of Holy Trinity, London, that they owe a yearly rent of grain to Richard de Valoniis, and after his death to Awda his wife, from land in Roxford, to be received at Ho in Hertfordingesberi, the said land to remain to the said canons after the deaths of Richard and Awda; Richard is not bound to warrant to the said canons certain land lying by Pollardespightel or certain meadow land in Chadrichesmad. Witnesses:- Sirs Henry de Holewoll and William de Albingeton, William de Ludewik, and others (named). Herts. (A. D. 1248)
