Description

Grant by John le Moyne, son of Luke le Moyne, of Hertfrodingebery, to John the prior, and the canons of Holy Trinity, London, of land (in Hertfordingebery) in the west field (campo de west) adjoining the land of Suhtwode, and of a ditch adjoining a messuage called 'Huverhale' with release of 2 lbs of cummin yearly due to the grantor for a tenement in Rokesford, and release of every action concerning a ditch between lands of the grantor and grantees in Rokesford, to hold to the grantees in frank almoin. Witnesses:- Simon Tailepaste, Richard de Valoines, John de Holewelle, and others (named). Endorsed: 'Rochesforth. '. (A. D. 1252-1258)
