Agreement before the justices itinerant within the bounds (banleucam) of Ramsey, between John de Clervaus and the abbot of Ramsey, whereby the said John is to have one oak yearly for his hearth in the abbot's wood of Bottenhale; as well as ' heybote ' and ' husebote ' in the said wood by view of the abott's forester' and may also have his demesne pigs, free of pannage in the abbot's wood of Rokesgrave. In return for this, John grants to the said abbot all his right in a messuage and land in Wystowe which his kinsman, Michael de Clervaus, formerly held: [Hunt.]. Monday before Martinmas, 57 Henry III.
