Grant by Brian de Trocking, to Stephen le Scholt and Rose his wife of a messuage and land in Brakhinge (Braughing), which he held of the fee of Gatesbri, the land lying, part in the fields called ' Kingeshohull,' ' Brakingefeld,' and ' Caldeberi,' and part in a meadow called ' Formad,' extending to the path leadin to Staundone; with a further grant of 2d. yearly rent received from the prioress of Haliwell. Witnesses:- Sir Robert de Rupella, Henry de Braking, Miles de Staundone, and others (named): [Herts.] Endorsed:- ' Braghyng. '.
