Description

Letter of attorney by William Elys, son and heir of Thomas Elys, and grandson of Thomas Elys, and grandson of Thomas Elys, gentleman, late of Kenyngton, authorising John Crofte to deliver seisin to William Lemyng, citizen and grocer of London, of the manor of Birton, and of all other lands etc formerly belonging to the grantor's father and grandfather in the county named: Kent. Underwritten, 'I Wyll'm Elys delyver thys for my dede'. 14 July, 1 Edward IV.
