Lease by Sir Hugh le Despenser, the son, to Rees ap Griffith, for seven years, of the castle of Drosselan and Dynnyevor and all the land of Cantredemaure, the said Rees paying yearly to the said Sir Hugh, 500 marks, at his exchequer of Kaerdyf, and furnishing men when desired by Sir Hugh, to go to Scotland or elsewhere, with grant by Sir Hugh, that if war break out in Wales, the said Rees shall be discharged from paying his said rent during the time he is prevented from taking the profits of the said land etc: [Caerm.].
