Description

Letters patent by the king, confirming a grant dated at Sutton in Holland, August 6, 16 Edward II, by Alesia de Lascy late the wife, of Thomas, earl of Lancaster, and daughter and heiress of Henry de Lascy, late earl of Lincoln, to Sir Hugh le Despenser, the younger, her kinsman, of all knights' fees, and advowsons of churches etc pertaining to the manors of Troubrigge, Wynterbourne, Aumbresburs, Caneforde, Elstrigge, and Cherlton: [Wilts.] [Dorset.] Endorsed: 'La chartre le Roin de conferment de purchace des fees; avowesons appurtenauntes au. .
