Will of Lettice wife of John de Lodbrok, devising, among other bequests, 1/2 a mark to the fabric of Lichesfeld church, a 'trental' (tricentale) to each of the parish chaplains of Thanenurth and Lodbrok, to Edmund, her son, her supertunic with a mantle of 'pers', etc: [Warw.] Endorsed: Memorandum that the said will was proved before J. Pupard, sequestrator general of the bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, and administration granted, 7th Ides (7) of February, A. D. 1308. Also that on the 15th kalends of March (15 Feb. ) in the same year, at Leicester, the officials of the archdeacon of Leicester, have committed the administration of the deceased's goods to two of her executors etc also that the said will was proved in St. Mary's church, Warwick, on the 4th kalends of March (27 Feb. ) A. D. 1308, before John de Bradewas, clerk, sequestrator-general of the bishop of Worcester, and administration committed to four of the executors. Thursday after St. Hilary, A. D. 1308.
