Grant by Richard son of William son of Alvred, to the monks of St. Pancras, (Lewes), in frank almoin, of a hide of land in Sidenore, which Roger de Bruston, the grantor's man, had given tot he said monks, with exemption from service except Danegeld. Witnesses:- Anscher the chaplain (capellano) of Rigate, Richard the chamberlain (kamberlengo), Adam de Sud Wercha, and others (named). Sussex. Twelfth century.
