Description

Agreement between Alan Basset and Peter de Pirefr', whereby the latter grants that the portion of a pasture in Wockinge called 'Fetebroc' which Alan has inclosed, may remain to him and that he may enclose one third ot the remainder, in return for a grant of common in the unenclosed part of the said pasture to the said Peter and his men of Wockinge, and the use of the cross road to Coyninere ford, except when the land on Coyinere is sown (inbladata). Witnesses:- Gilbert de Basevile, William de Papewurthe, and others (named): [Surrey.]. [Henry III.]
