Description

Final agreement between William Briene, Richard Waldegrave, the younger, and William Berdewell, knights, Thomas Pynchebek, Robert Asshefeld, Robert Hotot, John Yelverton and John Palmere, plaintiffs, and William de Clopton, knight, deforciant, concerning the manors of Wykhambrok called 'Giffardes' and 'Halstede,' and a messuage and land in Wykhambrok, Stradesele, Stansfeld, Hankedone, Depedene and Denaston. Clopton acknowledgesthem to be the right of the plaintiff, John Palmere, to whom, with the other plaintiffs, he also grants the remainder thereof, after the death of Mary late the wife of William de Clopton, knight, who held them for life and after whose death they ought to revert to the deforciant, for 200 marks.
