Description

Grant by Master John de Brockeleye, to Richard de maddingle, rector of Sneylewelle, for 7/., of his messuage in St. Edmunds in the street called 'Little Brakelond,' with his share of a spring, and 3d. yearly quit rent from a messuage in St. Edmunds, paying ½d. yearly to the provost of St. Edmunds for Hadgovel, and 18d. to St. Saviour's hospital without the north gate. Witnesses:- Geoffrey son of Robert, alderman, Nicholas son of Fulk and John le Blund, bailiffs, and others (named). (Suff. ).
