Grant by Henry, Earl of Northumberland, to Henry Pole, knight, lord of Montague, of the manor of Stapull, paying 40s. yearly, in return for the surrender of an annuity of 40/. issuing from the manor and lordship of Petworth, Sussex, previously granted to him by the said Earl. Guy Bonnildi and Philip Acton appointed attorneys to deliver seisin. Somers. Endorsed: Memorandum of livery of seisin, 26 July, 23 Henry VIII.
