Description

Release by Benedict, son of Henry Hyldesent, of Great Ringstede, to Sir William the abbot, and the convent of Ramsey, in frank almoin, for three marks, of land in Ringstede, at 'le Smethe,' abutting on the road called 'Dockingate,' with liberty of three parts of one fold, which land and faldage were sold to him by the sons of Stephen the clerk of Great Ringstede. Witnesses:- William de Segeford, and others (named): [Norf.].
