Description

Grant by William, son of Brichmar de Haverhull, to the canons of Holy Trinity by Alegate, London, in frank almoin, by consent of Alice, his wife and Thomas, his son and heir, of 3s. rent in the parish of St. Nicholas 'de Westmacekaria,' in the street leading from St. Nicholas' church to the city wall. For this grant the canons have released to him the 40s. arrears he owes from lands he holds at 8s. yearly rent in the parishes of St. Mary Magdalene in Fish Street by St. Paul's, and St. Michael de Bassishaghe by the city wall, and admitted him and his to participate in the benefits and prayers of their church. Witnesses:- John, priest of St. Peter of Wdestrate, Ingelran, priest of St. Michael upon Thames, Henry son of Ailwin son of Leofstan, Mayor of London, Robert Blund, sheriff, son of Bartholomew Blund, and others (named): [Middx.]. A. D. 1196
