Description

Indenture witnessing that whereas Richard Hervy, citizen and goldsmith of London, and Alice his wife, have granted to William Welpele, citizen and shoemaker of London, a messuage with houses in the parish of St. Albans's Wood Street, and Richard is bound to William in 20l. to be paid at the Nativity of St. John the Baptist next; the said William grants that if he and his heirs peaceably hold the said messuage, the said bond shall be of no force: [Middx.].
