Description

Grant by Reginald de Spaldyng, parson of St. Benedict's, Grascherche, London, John Pountfret, saddler, Thomas Potesgrave and Richard Spenser, parishioners of the same church, to Sir Martin Elys, parson of St. Faith's in the city of London, of two marcs yearly rent issuing from a tenement in St. Katherine's parish within Algate. Various grants of the said tenement and rent are mentioned from the time of Adam Fresshfissh, who held the tenement in the reign of Edward II. John Northampton, Mayor of London, John Sely and Adam Bamme, sheriffs, John Kirketon, alderman of the ward. Middx. Endorsed: Memorandum of enrolment at the Husting for common pleas, Monday after the Apostles Philip and James, 18 December, 6 Richard II.
