Acknowledgment by Geoffrey son of Richard Cook, of Edelmeton, that he owes Richard, the prior, and the canons of Holy Trinity, London, 9d. yearly rent for land in Edelmeton in the field called "Stonifeld", which his father formerly held of Ralph Heyrun and then of the canons for 4d. yearly. For this increase of rent the canons have given him 5s. to forward his affairs. Witnesses: John de Anesty, Peter Spirk, and others (named). [Middx.].
