Release by William de la Forde, of Edelmethon, to Hugh Peverel, son of William Peverel, of Edelmethon, of all his right to half a hide of land in Edelmethon, which he sought from Hugh by a writ of right in the court of Sir William Say, knight; in return for the grant to him by Hugh of land in Langheg and elsewhere, and a rent of 16d., for which he will pay the said Hugh 2s. yearly. Witnesses:- Peter son of Alan, John de Anesty, and others (named): [Middx.].
