Description

Grant by John son of John, of Edelmeton, to Richard, the prior, and the canons of Holy Trinity, London, for 40 marcs, of a messuage in Edelmeton with four pieces of land, one abutting on the messuage in the field called 'Pleyestowe', and another in Heghefeld; land in the field called 'Langeheg', land called 'Schaddesland' in the field called 'Heghefeld', and land adjoining extending along the road called 'Rodwey'; four acres called 'Dane', land in Heghesfeld, and land in Edelmeton Marsh, stretching to the Lea; and a yearly rent of 12d. issuing from a messuage and land in Edelmeton: [Middx.] Endorsed: "xij. ". The Purificaton, 34 Henry III.
