Description

Grant by William de Ram' to Adam son of Ranulph son of Adam, of half his land in Egeswere and [Sta]nmere, which Ranulph, Adam's father, held of Roger, William's father, except his dwelling house at Stanmere, and the church and the meadow west of his garden, to hold by the service of half a knight's fee; and also a reasonable road for a horse and cart through his land from Adam's house to the church. For this grant Adam has given him six marcs, and to Sara his wife 5s. Witnesses:- Roger, prior of St, Bartholomew's, Richard de Ram', Geoffrey Bucuint, William le Engleis, and others (named): [Middx.]. [Henry II?]
