Description

Grant by William de Roquesle, citizen of London, to John le Clerc, of the Vintry, that he and his heirs may always have a paling (un paliz) on this side of and beyond his ditch, to the corner of William's garden towards the south, so that the water may have free course between the palings as hitherto; in return for which John grants him free entry and egress by his gate towards the south to cleanse his ditch which is between their tenements as often as need shall require. Witnesses:- Gregory de Roquesle, Stephen Pykron, and others (named): [Middx.]. [Henry III.]
