Description

Grant by William, the prior, and the convent of Holy Trinity, London, to Richard le Botoner, citizen and mercer of London, of two shops and a cellar in St. Mary Colcherche parish, paying 40s. yearly. Witnesses:- Sir Ralph de Sanwico, Warden of London, Henry le Bole and Elyas Russel, sheriffs, and others (named): [Middx.] Annexed: Certificate by Richer le Botener that he empowered Robert de Sancto Martino, canon and rent collector of Holy Trinity, London, to distrain on behlaf of the convent on the tenement he had by gift of John Hardel in St. Mary Colcherche parish fo the above 40s. due for the two shops in London market; and the said Robert took distresses therein and retained them till the 40s. was satisfied. Sunday after St. Martin, 20 Edward I.
