Grant by Peter called Clauuag, baker, to Robert de Aldenham, buckler maker, of London, of a messuage within Aldredesgate in the parish of St. Agnes held of the fee of the canons of St. Bartholomew; paying the latter yearly 13s. 4d., the nuns of Ankerwik 8s., the nuns of Clerkenwell 7s., the monks of St. Albans 18d., and the monks of Bermondsey 12d. Witnesses:- Sir Thomas son of Thomas, Mayor of London, Edward Blund and Peter Anger, sheriffs, and others (named): [Middx.]. [49 Henry III.]
